The whole picture

More than an adjustment

Good care starts with thoroughly understanding you: your health history, your current concerns, your stage of life, your job, your activity level, and your goals. Dr. Lindsay takes a comprehensive approach to your care, beginning with a thorough examination of the musculoskeletal system to identify areas of joint dysfunction as well as the associated soft tissue restrictions and imbalances. Treatment is then tailored to address both the immediate issue and the factors that may be contributing to it, with the goal of not only helping you feel better, but also improving how your body functions and reducing the likelihood of the same problem recurring.

Patient perspectives

What patients say about working with Dr. Lindsay

I started seeing Dr. Lindsay during my second trimester and she helped address so many issues that I had during pregnancy like carpal tunnel and sciatica. I always felt relaxed during my appointments because she walked me through every step with ease and expertise. I have continued seeing her postpartum and it’s even more of a game changer. She is able to adjust areas that have been bothersome from holding a baby in certain positions for too long to relieving shoulder and neck pressure from bad sleep positions. Seeing Dr. Lindsay has been pivotal in my prenatal and postpartum journey and I’ve been so thankful being under her care!

Dr. Lindsay is such a breath of fresh air for this momma. She has helped me in so many ways, helping with pains and aches I’ve had for a while. The office always gets me in a timely manner. And Dr. Lindsay has adjusted my children as well. I don’t feel like I’m rushed out of the office, and can describe exactly what’s been going on and feel like my physical concerns are heard and addressed.

Dr Lindsay McDonald is amazing. She was recommended to me by my high-risk pregnancy Doc when I injured my back in 3rd trimester. The whole staff was so kind getting me in quickly and Dr Lindsay was thorough, kind, and effective. I’ve continued to see her leading up to delivery and will be back post-partum.

Before your first visit

A few common questions

How many treatments will I need?

This is different for each issue and patient. You will likely need more frequent visits in the beginning stages of care to effectively address muscular tension and memory. However, once symptoms decrease, our visit frequency will also change.

Do you accept insurance?

Dr. Lindsay is an out-of-network provider, and payment is due at the time of service. We believe your care should be guided by you and your healthcare provider—not by insurance limitations. This allows us to provide truly individualized care based on your needs, goals, and stage of life. After each visit, we will provide a Superbill that you may submit directly to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Chiropractic care is safe during pregnancy when provided by a chiropractor trained in prenatal care. Techniques are gentle and specifically adapted to accommodate your changing body throughout pregnancy, with care focused on maintaining mobility, comfort, and function as your body prepares for birth.

Will treatment hurt?

Treatment should not be painful. Dr. Lindsay uses gentle, controlled techniques and adapts treatment to your comfort level, your body, and your specific needs. You may experience mild soreness after certain treatments, similar to what you might feel after exercise, but your care should never feel unnecessarily painful or forceful.

How does pediatric treatment differ from adult treatment?

Pediatric chiropractic care is much gentler and more specific than adult care. Treatment is tailored to a child’s age, size, development, and individual needs, using very light, age-appropriate techniques rather than the same methods used with adults. The goal is to support healthy movement and function as your child grows.
