Postpartum Chiropractic Care
Support for Your Body After Baby
Pregnancy, birth, and the early months of parenting place tremendous physical demands on your body. Postpartum care provides an opportunity to address those changes and support your body as you recover, rebuild, and adjust to life with a baby.

Your Body Has Been Through a Lot
After birth, many parents notice changes in their movement, strength, or comfort. Chiropractic care may help support:
- Low back, hip, and pelvic comfort
- Neck and upper-back tension from feeding and holding
- Comfortable movement as your body recovers
- Changes in posture and daily mechanics
- Returning to exercise and normal activities
- The physical demands of carrying, feeding, and caring for your baby
Postpartum Doesn’t Mean “Back to Normal”
Your body doesn’t simply return to its pre-pregnancy state overnight. Recovery is a process, and your care should reflect where you are right now.
Whether you’re newly postpartum or several months—or even years—after birth, chiropractic care can be part of a broader approach to supporting your body’s movement and function.
Care for the Whole Transition
Postpartum care is about more than aches and pains. It’s about helping you feel more comfortable in your changing body so you can move, care for your baby, exercise, and get back to the things that make you feel like yourself.
The physical demands of caring for a newborn often lead to tension in the neck, shoulders, upper back, low back, and hips. Dry needling can help address these areas of stress and support a more comfortable recovery.
Continuity from pregnancy through postpartum
I started seeing Dr. Lindsay during my second trimester and she helped address so many issues that I had during pregnancy like carpal tunnel and sciatica. I always felt relaxed during my appointments because she walked me through every step with ease and expertise. I have continued seeing her postpartum and it’s even more of a game changer. She is able to adjust areas that have been bothersome from holding a baby in certain positions for too long to relieving shoulder and neck pressure from bad sleep positions. Seeing Dr. Lindsay has been pivotal in my prenatal and postpartum journey and I’ve been so thankful being under her care!
